Over 2 years ago during a family discussion about driving all the way to Palmerston North after a full day’s work to go to the gym, we decided to take the plunge and open a gym right here in our awesome town. After searching for a building suitable enough and having no luck, we almost gave up until our current location came up. We jumped at the opportunity and worked quickly with the building owner to secure it. After many hours of planning we had a clear vision, fitness is for everyone regardless of age or fitness level and it needs to be affordable for everyone. Hours of cleaning, demolition, painting and sourcing the gear we had our space, and we were ready to share it. We had our share of set backs (often morale crushing) but we persevered.
